Come to a Quiet Place

“…Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” Mark 6:31b
If I can give you any word of encouragement today, I would remind you to spend some time with Jesus today. When you come by yourself for a moment with Him, shut out the noise, the chaos, and your long list of things to do. Take a breath. Maybe another one. Hear the quiet and listen to Him. He knows you’re tired, emotionally, physically or spiritually. He will give you rest. Give your needs to Him and you will be renewed. Ready to face the day with a quiet spirit and Jesus by your side.
Thank you, Jesus. I can come to you each day and find a quiet moment alone with you. And there I will find rest for my spirit. Thank you for always being there waiting for me.
