Who is This Jesus?
Crowds have surrounded Jesus for the last 3 years of His life trying to find that answer. In His last days, some are still asking, ”Who is He?” People who have never heard teaching like this, full of so much love, truth and hope. People who are angered by this man. The crowds are listening to Jesus’ words, so different from their own teaching. The Romans kept an eye on Him too, but just to be sure the peace is being kept. Yet…they couldn’t help but hear His amazing words. Others followed because they had a close encounter with Him, touched by Him, healed by Him. And they knew He was more than a mere man.
Who are you? Are you one in the crowd?
Do you come every week to hear about Jesus and what He says? Still wondering “Who is He?” to me.
Does Jesus, and all this talk about God, anger you, and you are wondering if Jesus is right, then is what you’ve believed all your life wrong?
Do you look on at a distance wondering how could anyone believe what Jesus teaches? Yet…
Do you know Him up close and personal? Jesus has touched your life and you are a new person, following Him, listening daily to His teachings, watching lives be healed and changed.
Who is this Jesus?
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
Have you been following Jesus, watching from a distance? Curious, angry, lonely, hurting yet not sure what you really want or need? Are you like the blind beggar who called out to Jesus, “have mercy on me”? “Jesus asked him, ‘What do you want me to do for you?’
‘Lord, I want to see,’ he replied. Jesus said to him, ‘Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.’ Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God.” Luke 18:39-43

The one who can heal your blindness and give you sight and let you see the truth about who He is…
Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior.
Dear God, Today I no longer want to be just one in the crowd, watching you and wondering. Open my eyes that I may see you and find truth. Change me, heal me, fill me with new life. Thank you for loving me.
