My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2
Where does my help come from? Most days, I believe I’m doing quite well on my own. “I’ve got this” mentality. I come from the “I am woman, hear me roar” generation. Yet who am I kidding. I am still in need of my Lord as my help. It’s true “I am woman” but I belong to the great “I AM”. God is I AM, and I am His.
Where does my help come from? The maker of heaven and earth. The creator of all things. The maker of oceans, mountains, deer, butterflies, me and you. My glorious God is ready, able and willing to be my help. My job is to go to Him in prayer and to get out of the way and let Him be my help. “the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forever more” v3.
God, I thank you for being my help when I needed you most and when I didn’t know I needed you. I thank you that as creator of all, the great I AM, you love me and watch over ME.
